I hae had an etsy store for a while now and realised i havnt tried to sell anything on it yet. so tonight i put a few illustrations ive been doing up and with in about 20 minutes i had sold a piece so i think this thing is pretty good

This is my first sale and im also going to be doing a limited 10 at A3 for sale in the coming weeks too

It has been really nice weather here in sweden lately, like 28, so yesterday we went bike riding down or i should say up a mountain ust outside the city to a really nice lake , here is a photo

i went to this exhibition the other day at the gothenburg museum "The history of skateboards" they had like every type of deck made since the 70's in perfect condition, and some super cool long board skate boards like actual surfboards made into skateboards, pretty cool stuff.

Ive been chilling out enjoying the summer here, i got a new well super old bicycle so ive been riding around the city and fining little things here and there, where im living is a pretty nice little city, has nothing on sydney but its very nice. Ive been working on a load of illustrations lately. ive started a set of live like ilustrations of musicians like this.



ive also hooked up some illustration work with a german skateboarding/snowboarding magazine called playboard, not sure when im doing the illustrations but im super keen to get into them.

Ive also set up a page for my more playful illustrations and typography, this is going to lead into my little publishing company its called there theyre and im doing things like this


Im exploring consumption in a good way, like everyone wants and needs things, its just cool to pretend you dont, well i want alot of things, and thats what this group of works is about

After the summer im going to hook up a gallery show somewhere here, not sure where yet, im trying to work out where i want to show at. I have a few other spaners in the works at the moment but i will keep them secret until they become final.



June 30th

So i went to a theme park yesterday called liseberg in gothenburg, ive been there before, but never hung over rides and alcohol dont mix, anyway i won this GIANT chocolate which i thought would be a huge chocolate bar only i misled and it was like 2000grams of chocolate which is still pretty good, we decided to go on a saturday on the first weekend of most people summer holidays here so it was like a hour wait for each ride so we just hung out and went on kids rides until night time and went on a few spinny and rollercoaster rides

this is a picture from my zine i have just finished, ill be printing it tomorrow!! i cant wait and then i will be putting it all around gothenburg this week and then stockholm this week because i think im going to stockholm this weekend. its pretty neat, its A6, 16 pages, black and white and some coloured pages, its the first publication im putting out under my little publishing name They're There, i have a few projects underway that will be published in th coming months, but i cant let it all out now . . .

June 23rd


This is a stuga (Summer house) a little house in the country next to a lake, we went here for mid summer, and i found these two in the picture below, it was a dinkey and a horse and the were best friends, they just hung out, im yet to make many friends in sweden yet so i was super jelous. but also the second picture below is of a little kiosk we found when we were in the forest, it was in the middle of nowhere and i have no idea how it got there, there are no tracks or anything. but mid summer is over now and the weather is cold and rainy unfortunatly.





June 20th

Midsummer, tomorrow is mid summer eve here in sweden where we will go to camillas little cottage in the woods next to a lake, have a bbq, drink coffee and beer and eat strawberries, i thinks its a really big deal here, anyway i just like the idea of watching the sun set and then a couple of hours later watching it rise.

I have been working on my illustration portfolio as of late. today got myself some nice new felt markers and done some doodling here are some of the results

I finished this last night, this is going back to sydney for an exhibition in a few weeks, Im really liking drawings these at the moment, detailed pencil and detailed colours, im going to be working on these drawings alot from now on, i think packing up my studio and only having paper, pens and watercolours is the best thing ive ever done



June 19th


Swedish Pizza, for some reason its strange to share a pizza with someone so you end up with a giant family pizza to your self, not bad if your hungry but when your girlfridn orders a salad and you have this sitting in front of you you cant help but feel like a pig, it doesnt look as big it the photo but it was huge!

June 16th

5 days ago i arrived in sweden where im going to be living and working from for the next couple of years, so far i have found out that swedish people make shit coffee some one needs to tell them espresso coffee doesnt come from a machine that makes the milk and coffee for you. until a few months ago i was a long time vegeterian and yesterday i ate a fucking moose,

but my new appartment and little work space is beginging to look and feel alot more like home. ive got a few little projects im working on at the moment, some things for a theatre group and im working on some art for an exhibition coming up in Sydney.
This week i will be scoping out galleries to show some work at.


This is my new appartment, it is at the top of a mountain and looks over the city, although i am on the first floor and trees block my view, the second photo is from the bottom of the appartments, there is a little forrest that leads to the city, its really nice

These are some sketches i have been doing lately, last week i had to pack up my studio until i set up my new one in sweden. so i have only been able to use pencils and pens and my sketchbook, which has turned out nice because im really enjoying being limited to just a couple of things, these are what i have done

I have been asked to paint one of the Dont panics adopt a box www.dontpanicmedia.com.au

My house leaked water through the light bulbs and i thought i was going to be electricuted and all my paintings nearly got wet as my studio was under water by two inches, but i am lucky and a man came to fix the roof and it stopped leaking but my light now doesnt work and i cant paint at night which is bad because my exhibition is in 2 days

I started working on a new album cover for a band called "Planet of the stereos" they used to be called "The view"

I was featured this week in the drum media in the arts and film guide as the best piece of art in town this week

I had an Interiew with boundary bonds in the brag this week also

Two weeks, my first solo exhibition is at China Heights Gallery in Surry Hills Friday The 8th of February, starts at 6 and continues until 9, then 12 - 4 the following saturday and sunday
